Since then I have exhibited at various juried craft fairs throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. In addition to home décor designs, my wreaths also adorn corporate and small business offices, as well as bed and breakfast establishments. My primary medium is permanent botanicals and I utilize the colourful hues of nature’s fresh flowers, carefully selecting the most attractive and natural-looking flowers and foliage to create each design. For my Christmas designs, I focus on the “glitz and glamour” of the season and include a wide variety of coloured baubles, beaded garlands, ribbons, traditional pine cones and ornaments. Shaganappi Designs has evolved over the past few years, and my collection now includes wreaths, swags, garlands and kissing balls. Most recently, as a branch of Shaganappi Designs, I have added elegant Corporate Gift Baskets with a focus on the Real Estate market. I am delighted to now make my home on Vancouver Island, living on “Island” time and am looking forward to additional years as an exhibitor at craft fairs, introducing Shaganappi Designs to a new clientele on the Island. |

After developing a passion for wreath-making during the process of obtaining my Diploma in Floral Arranging and acting on the encouragement of family and friends, I held the first showing of my one-of-a-kind wreath, swag and garland designs that formed my new business, Shaganappi Designs, in 2003.
